Why Should You Rotate? – Step 6: The Letter “R”

The 7 Steps in forming your GIVERS Junto spell the word D.I.S.C.E.R.N.

GIVERS Junto Step 6 of 7 is the letter “R” for ROTATE. You should ROTATE the Chairperson for each GIVERS Junto meeting.

Birds flying in a V formation is a perfect example of Leadership Rotation and the Spirit of Harmony at work.

The birds fly together in formation.

They move together in a V formation.

They change direction together, and very smoothly change the leader of the formation as one bird turns over the leadership to the next bird in the leadership line.

Follow the example of the birds flying in V formation and ROTATE the chairperson from one meeting to the next.

The 3 Primary Benefits of Rotating the Meeting Chairperson are:

1. Each member rises up by developing, upgrading, and refining their communication skills.
2. It creates a peer-to-peer leadership engagement with all members leading and following together, in formation, as a unified group.
3. It increases interaction and engagement with all members as each contribute to meetings as the different Chairpersons facilitate the specific agenda for that meeting.
