What Is Your GIVERS Junto Name? – Step 5: The Letter “E”

The 7 Steps in forming your GIVERS Junto spell the word D.I.S.C.E.R.N.

GIVERS Junto Step 5 of 7 is the letter “E” for ESTABLISH. You should ESTABLISH your GIVERS Junto with a unique Name.

Why? Because when you name your GIVERS Junto, you make it REAL. This will increase comradery and have a direct positive impact on all of the members.

You are literally speaking it into existence.

Ben Franklin named his Junto the “Leather Apron Club” and Henry Ford named his Junto the “4 Vagabonds.”

What will you name yours?

When you name your GIVERS Junto, you are giving it an identity that all of your Junto Members will now be proud to be a part of.

Being a part of something is critical to the comradery, consistency, and dynamic of your ongoing GIVERS Junto.

Why is comradery important?

Here are 5 reasons:

1. It’s a shared identity rather than a stand-alone identify.
2. It’s a sense of belonging to a special group since you must be accepted to join.
3. It’s identified by a named group where all of the members have agreed to hold each other and themselves accountable to the GIVERS 25 Do’s.
4. It’s a special group where you will not feel the need to look over your shoulder as you may sometimes feel when you’re outside of your GIVERS Junto meeting. A sense of trust and confidentiality will permeate.
5. The mere mention of your GIVERS Junto name will put a smile on your face as you look forward to each new, fun, informative, and GIVING meeting.

So, give your GIVERS Junto a name. Breathe life into your Junto. Make it a real entity with a real identity.

This completes Step 5 of forming your own GIVERS Junto.
