What Is YOUR Best Contest EVER?

One day, my mentor came to me and said that he wanted us to compete against each other.

The contest he proposed was as follows:

We would compete each year. Whoever made the other the most money was the WINNER and the loser had to buy the winner anything they wanted.

My mentor won big the first year. He made me more money than I made him that year, so he asked for a home in Florida, which I paid cash to buy. Yes, I paid cash for his house.

I could not be upset because I had the money, and he won the contest that year. He made me more money than I made him.

The next year, I got smarter, and I won. My mentor bought me an Aerostar 601P airplane which is when I became a commercial pilot.

The next year he bought me a limousine.

The following year he bought me a Navajo Chieftain airplane.

Before my 35th birthday, I had 2 airplanes and a limousine with a full-time driver and valet.

Then I realized what my mentor had done.

He wanted me to win. His health was diminishing due to extreme diabetes, and he knew that he could not keep up with me, so he wanted me to win the contest each year.

Is the GIVERS CONTEST INTENTION POWERFUL?

You bet it is.

That is why it is the foundation intention of the GIVERS Junto.

It is the GIVERS CONTEST INTENTION.

Each member of your Junto must commit “up front” to an expectational agreement that they will do their very best to win the contest and compete to provide more than any other members of the Junto.

When this expectational agreement is made up front, the power of your Junto becomes almost unspeakable.
