Your GIVERS Scale of Life: Helping You or Hurting You?
The following was taught to me by my Mentor Sam Robbins.
Picture in your mind a scale with 2 sides.
This GIVERS scale of life strives for balance. It will always balance itself, even if for a moment it seems out of balance, it will ultimately balance itself.
The right side of the scale contains all of the rewards you will receive. These rewards are financial, physical, and mental just to name a few.
The left side of the scale contains all of the GIVING you will do. Everything that you can GIVE and contribute.
My mentor said, “Forget about the right side, the receiving side. Focus 100% of your efforts on heaving so much on the left side of the scale, the GIVING side, so much so that you are doing your best to get the scale out of balance with so much weight on the left GIVING side.”
When you do this, you will never have to be concerned about what you will receive in life or if it will ever be enough.
You will receive more than you can even imagine. So how does your GIVER scale of life look?
If your rewards are slim to none, then you are not GIVING and contributing enough to others.
