This is Part 1 of 4 of Your GIVERS Junto Agenda
The answer is BOTH.
When meeting on a regular basis, it is important to keep a consistent structure and also build the GIVERS Spirit of Harmony and comradery of the members.
Here are some of the benefits of both a formal and informal agenda.
The Formal Agenda
Start the formal part of your agenda at the beginning of each meeting to set the overall tone and structure of the meeting.
The tone is important because you want to make sure that everyone is always on the same page with the GIVERS Junto Spirit of Harmony. No matter what has happened in their lives since the prior meeting, this will reset their thoughts and feelings to the present meeting.
The structure is important because it provides a consistent expectational value to each meeting. Simply put, they will know to expect certain values to be provided at each meeting.
There are specific certain sets of information that must be covered at the beginning of each meeting that call the meeting to order and increase each member’s Predictive, Massive, & Exceptional Happiness, Freedom, & Greatness.
The Informal Agenda
You can and must make each meeting something that all members look forward to with anticipation between meetings. When they think about the upcoming meeting, it should put a smile on their face.
Conduct the formal agenda at the beginning of the meeting and the informal agenda starting midway through the conclusion of the meeting.
